At Parhelion, we craft cinematic stories inspired by the raw beauty of the natural world. Founded by a Oliver Wheeldon whose journeys to Antarctica shaped a deep reverence for landscapes and untold environments, our work captures the extraordinary — from sweeping drone cinematography to emotionally grounded scripted narratives. Based in the UK and driven by a passion for visual storytelling, we aim to tell stories that capture the depth of human experience.
The Team
Riley Rheyan
Riley is a London-based writer and director originally from Canada, known for emotionally grounded stories with a dark comedic edge. A Vancouver Film School alum, her award-winning work includes Cherry Blossoms in March and the Raindance-winning script Bleed.
She’s produced across five continents and is currently developing her debut feature.
Oliver Wheeldon
Oliver is a filmmaker producing narrative, commercial and educational content in remote and extreme environments across the globe from the dunes of Abu Dhabi, to the ice fields of Antarctica.
His work has won GOLD awards from the Geographic Association and as of January 2025 of he became an official ambassador for Fujifilm UK.
